Trek ‘n Track – Bridgnorth to Bewdley and back!

This experience starts and finishes in Shropshire’s historic market town of Bridgnorth.

Join me in a guided trip down memory lane as I bring to life some of the history of Bridgnorth, the River Severn and its fascinating landmarks throughout this section, as well of course as some of the history of the world famous Severn Valley Railway.

We will walk south from Bridgnorth to Bewdley tracking the course of the River Severn through Shropshire’s beautiful countryside to the riverside town of Bewdley.

The route will pass by the villages of Hampton Loade and Highley before crossing over to the eastern banks of the river at Arley and then onto Bewdley.

There will be plenty of opportunity for some well-earned refreshment along the way and at Bewdley before we board one of the Severn Valley Railway’s steam hauled passenger trains back to Bridgnorth.

The return journey offers the opportunity to sit back, relax and to enjoy the breath taking unforgettable scenery and its history for a second time whilst taking pride in your earlier achievements.
